I am currently working on my 5th year of teaching. Previously I have taught Algebra 1, U.S. History, World History, EOC Math, and a RTI Math class. I have also been a coach for the past 4 years. I have been a head Cross Country and Golf coach, and have been an assistant Basketball, Football, and Track coach. 

As a teacher: I had 100% of my Algebra 1 and U.S. History students pass the EOC STAAR Test. I had over 70% of students pass the Algebra 1 test that had previously failed their 8th grade test, that attended my EOC Math class.

As a coach; In Memphis, TX (2A school) I had a boys cross country team advance to regionals (first time in school history), and a girl cross country runner advance to regionals. I had a boys golf team advance to regionals, and I had a girls golf team win a State Championship in 2014. In Temple, Tx (5A school) I had a boys and girls golf team advance to regionals, and a girl advance to regionals another year.

I have two young boys ages 4 and 2. My wife also teaches in Bowie ISD.
