Hi everyone! I am the Early Childhood Special Education teacher here on the Bowie Elementary Campus. This is my fourth year teaching in public school- however, I taught at our local preschool, Smarty Pants, for thirteen years prior to receiving my teaching certifications. I attended Texas Womans University for my undergraduate program and then earned my M.Ed in Autism Interventions at University of North Texas. My passion is serving children who struggle to access the general curriculum without a little extra help! My philosophy is that children learn best through play and that early intervention is a key factor in future success for all of my students. We do lots of singing, dancing, creative discovery and socialization while we "PLAY"!!!!
