This is a service we wanted to offer our parents for the 19-20 school year. These kits will be shipped directly to BES and ready for Meet the Teacher Night in August! The deadline to order is June 7, 2019. If you have any questions, contact the BES Office at 940-689-2950.

This last week started the inaugural Battle of the Books at BES! Our 3rd grade students have been digging into these books for competition since February and are loving the challenge! The battles continue this week! Continue to encourage and motivated them to reach new heights!

Today our Jackrabbits were able to get outside and begin to plant our spring garden! Thank you Mrs. Sanders for your green thumb!

Mrs. Sanders took a group of students out to help clean up our raised garden bed and set up our greenhouse this past week. They even found some grubs to feed the chickens! Spring is here and we are ready for planting!

In 3rd grade Art this past month we learned about Dale Chihuly, a famous American Artist who works with glass and is also a painter! The kids worked together to create Chihuly inspired Art! Great job 3rd grade! I love my job!!

This morning was incredible! I want to thank everyone for helping out and being patient with us on the first day.
Tomorrow if you are going to walk your child to class, you must sign in at the office. The time allowed for parents to walk in with their child is from 7:35 to 7:45. You will want to arrive early tomorrow to ensure plenty of time to sign in with the security system in the office. Bring your drivers license to expedite the process!
I have included morning drop off traffic pattern once again for everyone to see.

Breakfast in the Classroom
This year at BES and in BISD, we will be providing breakfast in the classroom for all students. Breakfast is no charge to all students, so you do not need to worry about your child's nutrition account for breakfast.
