I am currently in my 31st  year of teaching at Bowie Elementary. I taught for 24 years in the classroom and this is my seventh year in the gym as a Physical Education teacher. I am a graduate of Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. I am certified in Physical Education (EC-12), Elementary Education Self-Contained (1-8), and English as a Second Language supplemental (EC-12). I am a Bowie Jackrabbit, born and raised here in Bowie. I married a Bowie boy and had two children attend Bowie School System. I enjoy working with children and hope to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of my students.
