My name is Jody Oliver and I am a lifelong resident of Montague County. I am a 1989 graduate of Bowie High School and later attended Tarleton State University. I am married to Toby Oliver and we have two kids, R.J. and Laney. Laney is a 10th grader at Bowie High School and R.J. is a history teacher and coach at Nocona High School. I have been employed at Bowie ISD since 2010, where I worked as a long-term substitute teaching Leadership and Theatre Arts. Later, I transitioned into the classroom as a para-professional providing inclusion support for students that need support. I believe it is very important to get to know the students you are working with, so you are able to provide them with meaningful support. This is important because not all students learn at the same level or speed.
