My name is Amy Ellis and I will be teaching 4th grade ELAR and social studies.
I am a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's degree in Labor Studies and a Master's degree in Human Resources. I also went on to earn a Master's degree in education, specializing in curriculum and instruction.
I am currently certified to teach EC-6 core subjects, 4-8 core subjects, and EC-8 English as a second language supplemental.
This will be my first year teaching, and I couldn't be more excited.
I have a two year old basset hound named Roberta Mae, and a thirteen year old labradoodle named Kloe Louise. As my students will tell you, I am also a crazy cat lady. I have a handful of cats as well. There's always room for more. When I'm not teaching, I like to bury myself in a good book or curl up with my furry friends to watch a movie.
