Welcome to my page! I just want everyone to know how happy I am to be here at Bowie Elementary. My goal is to help every student be a successful learner and to develop a love of learning. I have loved teaching for 37 years. I began teaching in 1983 and taught for 2 years in the Dallas ISD school district, teaching one year each in second and third grade. I began teaching at  Bowie ISD in 1985 and taught first grade for 29 years. I retired in 2014 and then returned to be a substitute teacher in 2016. I was rehired as an Interventionist in 2019 and am currently teaching reading and math intervention to kindergarten through second grade.
