Coach Cory Mandrell
Coach Cory Mandrell joined the Bowie Jackrabbit family spring 2019. Coach Mandrell graduated High School at Snyder ISD in West Texas. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he played tight end for the football program. He started his coaching and teaching career at Lubbock ISD at Lubbock High School in 2005. In 2006 Coach Mandrell went back to his hometown of Snyder, TX where he was the Offensive Coordinator in football and the Assistant for baseball. He won a state championship in baseball in 2008 at Snyder High School. In 2012 Coach Mandrell joined the staff at Denision High School as the Offensive Coordinator. In 2016 Coach Mandrell went back to his hometorn for a seond time as their Athletic Director/Head Football Coach. Coach Mandrell was named the 2018-2019 4A-6A Big Country Coach of the Year.
Coach Mandrell is married to Morganne Mandrell who is also an educator. Together they have SIX children. Mason (15), Gavin (12), Taylor (11), Deacon (8), Grant (6) and Lakely (4mo).
