The 2018-2019 school year is my 15th year to teach.  I taught kindergarten for one year, 1st grade for 11 years (with one year in administration as well), and 2nd grade for 2 years.  I LOVE to teach and help the younger ones grow and build self confidence in themselves.  I am VERY excited about teaching in 1st grade again!  I look forward to a wonderful year!

I am married to William Leonard, who grew up and graduated from here.  We have two children that attend here at Bowie ISD, a girl named Taylor and a boy named Brennan.  We have 2 other sons that attend school in Decatur, one in fifth grade and the other is a sophmore.  We have a seventh member to our family, a black lab named Dusty.  We are very blessed!!!!

I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Oklahoma.
