I am Heather Duncan, Bowie Junior High school counselor. I have been in education for 8 years. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Texas and my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
My main responsibilties are:
Individual student planning: Help students develop and manage their educational, career, personal, and social plans
Guidance: Provide guidance to students and groups on educational, career, and personal plans
Consultation: Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and others to improve student work
Coordination: Coordinate with school and community resources to help students
