As we continue to build a great Friday night atmosphere at Jackrabbit Stadium, we are introducing a clear seating arrangement to better support our parents, fans, community members, band, and student sections.
We want our BHS Student Section to be LOUD, PROUD, and POSITIVE! Students are encouraged to bring the energy, use approved handheld noise makers such as thundersticks, clappers, and shakers, and streamers are welcome — just remember to help clean up afterward.
A few important reminders: no baby powder, confetti, air horns, throwing objects, or blocking aisles and walkways. Please show respect to our teams, officials, opponents, and fellow fans.
UIL Reminder: Students who are not participating in the event are not permitted on the field before, during, or after the game and must remain in the stands.
Thank you to our parents, fans, community, and students for helping us create a safe, spirited, family-friendly Friday night atmosphere.
Bring the noise. Bring the spirit. Represent Bowie well. Go Jackrabbits!

Congratulations to the Bowie High School 2026 Homecoming Court!

BHS students and parents: UIL eligibility grades will be snapshotted at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 18. This is the 6-weeks progress report check and No Pass, No Play applies.
The 9-weeks report card grades are due Wednesday, October 7, with rewards for strong academics:
All A’s = Off-Campus Lunch
All A’s & B’s = Popcorn Party
Check those grades, finish strong, and stay eligible! Good grades keep you in the game!

From dress-up days and downtown parade fun to the bonfire, HOCO Hype Tour, and Fright Night vs. Jacksboro, this upcoming week is going to be one for the books. Top it all off with the crowning of our Homecoming King & Queen at halftime, and you’ve got a full week of pride, tradition, and Jackrabbit energy.
Get loud. Get spirited. Get ready for HOCO 2026!

September is shaping up to be a busy and exciting month at Bowie High School!
- A major grade checkpoint is coming soon, so students are encouraged to stay focused, complete missing work, and keep their grades in good standing for UIL eligibility.
- Homecoming is also right around the corner, along with plenty of campus activities, competitions, and opportunities to show your Jackrabbit pride.
Stay connected, stay involved, and get ready for a great month at BHS!
#practiceexcellenceperformgreatness

As we begin a new semester, Bowie High School wants to remind our students taking dual credit courses through NCTC that success starts with strong habits from day one.
✅ Check Canvas and your email daily
✅ Stay ahead of assignments and deadlines
✅ Attend class and be on time
✅ Communicate early with your instructors
✅ Ask for help when you need it
✅ Balance school, activities, and study time
These are 'college courses with college expectations', but you have a team at Bowie HS cheering you on and ready to help.
We are proud of our Jackrabbits who are taking advantage of the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. Start strong on Monday and have a great semester!
#BowieHS #BowieISD #BowieBuilt

We saw a little dip in attendance this week, so it’s time to turn it back up! Next week, dual credit classes begin, and we need everyone here, on time, and ready to go. Our goal remains 96% or higher every week!
👏 Way to go, Juniors! You led the campus this week with 96.83% attendance and earned Hats/PJs Day on Monday!
Let’s see which grade level takes the title next week. Show up, Jackrabbits!
#AttendanceMatters #BowieBuilt

Please share with any former Jackrabbits who may need this information!

Way to show up, BHS Every grade level met our 96% attendance goal, and the Seniors took the win with 98.78% attendance!
Seniors, celebrate with Hats/PJs Day on Monday, 8/17! Keep showing up and showing out!

As we prepare for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, now is the perfect time to review your child’s immunization records.
Texas State Law requires all students to have updated vaccination records or a valid exemption on file before the first day of school.
✔️ If your child is fully vaccinated or has a current exemption (expires every two years) already on file with the school nurse — No action is needed!
❗ If your child needs vaccinations or you have not submitted updated records, we encourage you to take care of this over the summer to avoid any delays in enrollment.
📄 Not sure what vaccines are required for your child’s grade level?
Please review the attached PDF below for detailed immunization requirements by grade level.
