Morning drop-off with our football boys, cheerleaders, and steppers from BHS!
We LOVE having our Bowie High School students greet the younger students at BES, BIS, and BJH. As they entered school, there were plenty of high fives and smiles from all our students this morning. #bowiebuilt

🚍✨ It's National School Bus Safety Week! (Oct 21-25) ✨🚍
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s NHTSA reminds all drivers to slow down and stay alert around school buses. Remember, passing a school bus is illegal and can be deadly for kids.
🛑 When you see flashing red lights and a stop arm extended, you MUST come to a complete stop. This isn’t just a suggestion; it’s the law!
🔶 Yellow lights mean the bus is getting ready to stop. Slow down and prepare to stop your vehicle. You can only move once the red lights are off and the bus is moving again.
Stay aware of the “Danger Zone”—the area around the bus where children are most at risk, including:
-10 feet in front of the bus
-10 feet on either side of the bus
-Behind the bus
Let’s work together to keep our children safe! For more info on school bus safety, visit: NHTSA School Bus Safety - https://www.nhtsa.gov/road-safety/school-bus-safety#the-topic-bus-stop-safety.
