Any student or child 18 years or younger is welcome at Bowie High School for a free breakfast or lunch June 3-13 (Monday through Thursday).

Bowie ISD has many camps for which you can sign your children up this summer. We have sports camps, art camps, and reading programs at the Public Library. Some camps start on Tuesday, May 28th, so check them out.










We are so lucky to have such a wonderful public library in our community. We encourage all our students to continue to read this summer and participate in the summer reading program at the Bowie Public Library. You can check out books and videos to keep your children busy this summer and enjoy the library's activities at the community center.


The end of the year brought our 23-24 staff awards breakfast. In this celebration, we recognized our retirees, campus Unsung Heroes, and campus Teacher of the Year and announced our District Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year and Martin Award Winners.

This morning, the Class of 2024 had graduation practice and was treated to a fantastic breakfast by Freedom Life Church. First United Methodist Church also provided cookies for all the seniors. Our community is amazing at supporting our district and answering the call when we need help. #bowiebuilt #community


Bowie High School's Graduation is Friday, May 24th, at 8:00 PM in Jackrabbit Stadium. The Bowie Basketball Boys are holding a fundraiser before graduation and at the end to help quench your thirst and give you a treat while you enjoy celebrating our seniors.

Bowie ISD would like to invite all Emergent Bilinguals (ESL families) to the Bowie Public Library to see its services. We will take a tour, learn about the summer reading program, and get a library card if you want one. You will also learn how the library can help provide a literacy-rich home for your child and improve their literacy skills. Join us at the Bowie Public Library on May 9, 2024, at 5:30 PM. A translator will be present.

Life after high school looks different for each of 2024's graduates. Some are going to college, some will continue their fine arts or athletic careers, some will enter the military, and others will enter the workforce. BISD supports all these options, celebrates these choices, and wishes our students the best no matter their career path.
