📢 BISD STAAR/EOC Testing – Important Information 📢
The BISD Testing Calendar provides parents with all testing dates for every grade level. It is crucial that students are present on their scheduled testing day or the following day for make-up exams.
🔹 Plan Ahead:
✔️ If you anticipate a scheduling conflict, please contact your child’s campus as soon as possible.
✔️ Avoid scheduling appointments or campus visits on testing days, as state assessments have a 7-hour time limit (one full school day).
🔹 Between now and testing day:
📌 Stay alert to an informational session from your chld's campus about STAAR and testing dates.
📌 Visit TEA's testing family page for any information you may need and to do practice tests. From this https://www.texasassessment.gov/families.html page you click on the Practice Test card and then put in the specific test you want to look at. These are just like the STAAR test and will help prepare your child for April testing.
📌 If your school has invited your child to a bootcamp or tutorials, please make sure they attend. This small group specific instruction could help your child be approaches or meets on their assessment.
