Today we celebrate World Kindness Day, a day dedicated to promoting kindness to others, to ourselves, and to the world around us. π
First introduced by the World Kindness Movement in 1998, this annual celebration reminds us that even the smallest acts of compassion can make a big difference β a smile, a helping hand, or a simple word of encouragement.
Letβs all take a moment today to spread kindness wherever we go β in our classrooms, hallways, and community. Together, we can make the world a little brighter! β¨ #WorldKindnessDay #Bowiebuilt
Comment below on a way that you or your student showed kindness in our community today.

The U.S. Department of Transportationβs NHTSA reminds all drivers to slow down and stay alert around school buses. Remember, passing a school bus is illegal and can be deadly for kids.
π When you see flashing red lights and a stop arm extended, you MUST come to a complete stop. This isnβt just a suggestion; itβs the law!
πΆ Yellow lights mean the bus is getting ready to stop. Slow down and prepare to stop your vehicle. You can only move once the red lights are off and the bus is moving again.
Stay aware of the βDanger Zoneββthe area around the bus where children are most at risk, including:
-10 feet in front of the bus
-10 feet on either side of the bus
-Behind the bus
Letβs work together to keep our children safe! For more info on school bus safety, visit: NHTSA School Bus Safety - https://www.nhtsa.gov/road-safety/school-bus-safety....
