Dear Parents/Guardians,
Spring Individual Pictures will be taken at Bowie Junior High on Thursday, March 21st. These pictures will be taken on a proof basis; no money is needed on picture day. (Please be aware that no Retakes will be made on Spring Pictures.)

A Proof Flyer will be sent home approximately two weeks following picture day with your child’s spring image as well as ordering instructions. Prints can be ordered by visiting our website and selecting your school’s spring gallery page at www.cjpphoto.com. You will use the online access code provided on your child’s proof flyer to access this and all galleries. Prints will be delivered to the school free of charge.

Remember the two opportunities provided for you and your child tomorrow night at BHS. Each flier provides more explanation. This is a wonderful chance to ask questions regarding your child's entrance into high school.

CTE Month takes place during the month of February to honor students who have chosen to pursue career and technical education to acquire real-world skills to compete in the workforce. At the school board meeting, the Bowie Independent School District Board of Trustees hereby recognize February as CTE Month and extend sincere best wishes to all the talented young students who have chosen career and technical education as a way to achieve their long-term professional goals. BISD will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Week from February 12 to February 15. It's a celebration of all the ways we can become a positive influence in each other's lives. Each campus will participate in theme days and activities to encourage and model kindness. #RAKWEEK #Bowiebuilt

Bowie ISD values your input as we consider the instructional calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. The district has created several questions that we would like your thoughts, ideas, and feedback on to help assist in the calendar creation process. The District Calendar Committee, consisting of administrators, teachers, and parents, will use your feedback in the creation of next year's calendar and present a 24-25 calendar to the BISD School Board in February.
