Thank you Bowie Lion's Club for coming every year to perform eye screenings! You have identified several potential problems over the years that some of our kiddos would have gone much longer dealing with otherwise. We appreciate the time that you take to perform this free service!

Important information.
Bowie Elementary's Annual Instrument Parade will be held on September 19, 2025. The parade will begin at 9:15am and will be followed by a mini pep rally compliments of BHS! Please join us for the fun! For safety purposes, we kindly ask that you keep the following in mind:
1. Please remain in the designated location for spectators, anywhere outside of the coned off area. Do NOT enter the student area. There will be plenty of opportunity for photos.
2. Do NOT summon your student to deviate from their classes. They must remain in line and accounted for.
3. BHS students will need to move on to the next campus ASAP after the pep rally so please give them a moment to load and move the buses through the parking lot before you leave. This will really be helpful to keep them on schedule.
4. Please plan for your student to finish the school day. Even though it is early release (11:55am), it is very overwhelming to the office when many students are checked out all at once. Also, due to the abbreviated schedule, it may be more difficult to locate the student as they will not be in their regularly scheduled location.
Please see attached maps for a visual of the parking lot layout.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation! Can't wait to see you there!
