Bowie ISD would like to invite all Emergent Bilinguals (ESL families) to the Bowie Public Library to see their services and to enjoy a storytime provided by our Bowie High School Emergent Bilingual students. We will take a tour, learn about the summer reading program, and then hear storytime. You will also learn how the library can help provide a literacy-rich home for your child and improve their literacy skills. Join us at the Bowie Public Library on April 24, 2025, at 5:00 PM. A translator will be present.

Not only did we have a teacher recognized by the Red River Best Chevy Dealers Teacher Appreciation Contest, but we also had a school recognized for having the most nominations of teachers!

🌞 As the weather warms up and shorts start to make their way back into our wardrobes, let's remember to keep the BISD dress code in mind when choosing our outfits for school. 👚👖
Take a moment to check the BISD Dress Code visual and make sure the shaded blue area is covered: ✅ Shorts and skirts should be fingertip length or longer ✅ Shirts should cover the shaded blue area (no midriff showing and shoulders should be covered)
Stay mindful when purchasing clothes and when your children leave each day for school. Let’s make this a great rest of the school year! 🌟
