BISD Parents: Action Needed for the 2025-2026 School Year!
New state requirements (SB 12) require parent permission for certain services. ✅
👉 Two quick permissions are needed for the following services:
1️⃣ Health Services – Nurses need parent permission for care such as first aid, health checks, and screenings (except in emergencies).
2️⃣ Counseling & Support Services – Consent is required before students can participate in guidance lessons, goal-setting, or short-term support services.
📌 Please complete the Annual Routine Health Services Consent Google Form to indicate whether you give or deny consent to the services above.

Hey dads, uncles and/or grandpas! We are on the hunt for more "Hallway Heroes"! Check out the information for Watch DOGS! If you like the idea of being a positive role model and encourage good character in our youth, we have the job for you! In Celebration of Grandparent's week, BES will be hosting Lunch with Grands September 2nd-5th. Each grade level will have a designated day. Please see photo attached.
Please share and show your support for the high school theatre as they are raising funds for their department. They work so very hard and so an amazing job!

Safety is of the utmost importance. PLEASE follow the drop off rules and regulations. These may seem like common sense but we have had several reasons recently to address this matter.
DO's
-Have your child awake and ready to exit the vehicle on the PASSENGER side of the vehicle.
-PAY ATTENTION! Please be aware of all of you surroundings when driving and walking.
-STOP when you are instructed to stop. Rolling passed the crosswalk attendant puts not only them but crossing children at risk of harm.
-If walking with your child, DO hold their hand.
- Use the crosswalk.
-Please park to unload your child if they are not ready/wanting to get out quickly.
DO NOT's
-Do NOT use your phone in the drop off line. We actually see this often and KNOW when you are not paying attention.
-Do not stop your vehicle on the cross walk.
-If walking, do not cross in the middle of the road. Walk down the line of parked cars and safety cones to utilize the crosswalk.
-Do not cross until instructed. The attendant will indicate when it is safe. This applies going to and from the school. You are NOT an exception.
Ultimately, when these simple rules are followed everyone is safe. .

We have been informed that the suspect involved in this morning’s bank robbery is now in custody. As a result, all secure safety protocols across Bowie ISD campuses have been lifted.
All students and staff are safe, and we have returned to normal operations. We appreciate the swift response from local law enforcement and your continued support as we prioritize the safety of our school community.

We have been made aware of a bank robbery that occurred in town. The suspect is currently at large. Out of an abundance of caution, all campuses have implemented secure safety protocols.

Please reference an email that you received in July for help with your username. If you’ve forgotten your password, just click “Forgot my password” on the login screen to reset it.
Need help? Our campus registrars will be happy to assist you. Please contact your child’s school directly.
