Kindergarten graduation is at 6:00 pm at the JR. HIGH. Please have your kindergartener there around 5:45 pm. Reminder: no hats or bows in the hair. They will be wearing a graduation cap. No helium-filled balloons or smoke machines will be allowed in the auditorium. See you soon!

📣 BISD Weather Make-Up Day Update ⛅ Due to the inclement weather days and one late start used earlier this school year, BISD has made the following calendar adjustments: 🗓️ Friday, April 25, 2025 This date will NOT be used as a make-up day. It will remain a Flex Day for students and staff. 🕒 Thursday, May 22, 2025 - Last Day of School Additional minutes will be added to our early release schedule to make up for instructional time missed during the late start. Dismissal times will be as follows: 📘 Bowie Elementary – 1:40 PM 📗 Bowie Intermediate – 1:45 PM 📙 Bowie Junior High – 1:50 PM 📕 Bowie High School – 2:00 PM Thank you for your continued support and flexibility as we adjust to meet state requirements and maintain high-quality instruction for all students.

The additional day the district used for bad weather was made up with "banked" minutes in the 24-25 calendar. 🕒 Friday, May 23, 2025 To make up for instructional time missed during the late start, two hours will be added to our early release schedule. Dismissal times will be as follows: 📘 Bowie Elementary – 1:55 PM 📗 Bowie Intermediate – 2:00 PM 📙 Bowie Junior High – 2:05 PM 📕 Bowie High School – 2:15 PM Thank you for your continued support and flexibility as we adjust to meet state requirements and maintain high-quality instruction for all students.

Spring book fair is coming! April 21-24. Parents are welcome to check in at the office to attend with their child. Although, we kindly ask that you try to come during your students scheduled visit, the book fair will be available all week. FUN FACT- Literati offers an e-gift card option.
