GOOD NEWS! If you missed the cutoff of BES 2023-2024 yearbook sale, it has been REOPENED! The cost is $25 and can be purchased at https://shop.memorybook.com. Use school code 177306M.
Then, you can either collect it at the BES front office OR email a receipt into jennifer.stewart@bowieisd.net and it will be sent home with your child (including 3rd graders). Hop on it now! The sale won't be open long!
Join us this Thursday at the Bowie High School gym for our first pep rally of the season. Let's support our athletes, band members, and cheerleaders. It is a great day to be a jackrabbit! #bowiebuilt
Calling all interested substitutes, we need you in BISD!
Please attend one of the new substitutes' training sessions to start subbing in Bowie ISD. Even if you haven't completed all the paperwork, you can attend the training, and then we will assist you with any missing information.

Thanks for your patience regarding transportation on the first day of school. Please remember that the route number is the most important number for your student to know. Route numbers will not change, but the bus number could change periodically. If you are unsure of your child's route number, please email transportation supervisor Cory Hickey at cory.hickey@bowieisd.net

We are quickly approaching the 24-25 school year, and with all the excitement comes lots of events, new information, and the need for a calendar to keep up with it all. Bowie ISD provides a digital monthly newsletter for all stakeholders to view. This newsletter will be sent in an email, text to families, posted on our website, and located on the district and campus Facebook pages. BISD welcomes all new and returning substitutes for the 24-25 school year. If you desire to become a substitute in our district, please apply through the Region 9 website and attend a BISD New Substitute Training. If you are a returning substitute, you will receive an email with a training video to watch and a form to complete. Returning substitutes do not need to attend face-to-face training.

If you will have or know of a child that may be eligible for pre-k (4yr by Sept. 1st) for the 2024-2025 school year, please come by and pick up an application! We would love to add them to our Bowie Elementary family!

Please see the chart below for Bowie ISD campus school times. We have included when the front doors will open to receive students and offer breakfast. The start time is when students should be in their homeroom/first-period class to avoid being counted as tardy.
